Park Yoon Hwa leaves T-Max for the army

Having just welcomed a new member, Park Hanbi, T-Max will still be a 3-member group after it was revealed that Park Yoon Hwa would be leaving for the army.

It was revealed that the 24-year old Yoon Hwa has opted to join the army sometime this year instead of waiting until he is 29, which is what most male entertainers in the entertainment industry do.

The decision was revealed on the 5th where Yoon Hwa wrote a message on T-Max’s fancafe. He regrets that he has to leave the group but this was a decision that he had made with much thought. He also hopes that everyone will continue supporting T-Max and he will return as a better musician in future.

Planet 905 confirmed the news on the 6th and expressed, “The exact time of his enlistment is not yet fixed but it will be this summer. We discussed about it and felt that his enlistment date might affect the new album promotions in May, so it was decided that he will not be involved with the album and leave the group. After his enlistment, we will welcome him back into the group.”

Shin Min Chul to participate in 2010 KOREA T-MGangwon festa in Fukui, Japan

This coming January 16 an 17 Shin MinChul will be in Japan for the Japanese-Korean Music Festival which will be held in Tokyo and Sapporo.

Instead of the usual regal entrace made by pop idols, T-Max's eager beaver band leader Shin Min-chul shows his goofy side when he slipped and fell on his way to meet with fans at the airport.

An overenthusiastic Shin Min-Chul fell down while he was on his way to meet with fans yesterday at Changi Airport. “I was really eager to meet with the fans yesterday after we arrived. I was running towards them and fell down instead!” he laughed sheepishly.

Setting aside the slippery escapades at the airport, with the overwhelming popularity of one member in a band, one would expect jealousy to ensue.

Since starring in the hit household K-drama series, Boys Over Flowers , Kim Joon, the rapper of Korean boyband T-Max, has catapulted to fame overnight, overshadowing his two fellow T-Max members, Min Chul and Park Yun Hwa.

Speaking to the media at the press conference this afternoon for Seoul’d Out Sundown festival, Min Chul, the group’s leader got up from his seat and pretended to leave the room in mock anger.

“Well that is quite a common question,” he answered, referring to the Kim Joon’s popularity. “To be honest, we are all humans. Yes, there can be jealousy. But we view this as a form of opportunity for all of us from [Kim Joon’s] success.

We hope for everyone to take us as a team. Don’t take us as individuals. Please watch us as a team together.”

They remained adamant about their cohesiveness as a group, despite performing solo songs in their recent single, Single Collection (Special Collection).

Kim Hyung Joon [김형준] or Kim Joon (김준) is a rapper of Korean Boyband T-Max. Maybe Kim Joon is the famous member of the group as his popularity has risen up while he starred as Song Won Bin in Korea hit drama Boys Over Flowers.

Don't be confuse with the name Kim Hyun Joong, the leader of SS501, and Kim Hyung Joon, youngest member of SS501.

Kim Joon Career

Prior to the F4 fame, Kim Joon was already known as a member of K-pop group T-Max, who first debuted in 2007. He is the rapper of the group and also writes the raps himself. Their song entitled "Paradise" was featured in the first edition of the Boys Over Flowers' soundtrack. Other songs of T-Max that were featured in the subsequent editions of the Boys Over Flowers' Original Soundtrack were "Say Yes," "Wish You're My Love","Fight The Bad Feeling," and "Bang Bang Boom." Kim Joon also had a single in the soundtrack entitled "To Empty Out" with Kim Jo Han. He also had his solo song "Jun Be O.K.", written by himself, with Kim Hyun Joong doing a cameo appearance in the MV of the said song.

In addition after Kim Joon's stardom, T-MAX took part of many OST for dramas and movies. From April 2009 to December 2010, Kim Joon was a permanent cast of “Invincible Baseball Team”, a KBS 2TV program which aired during Saturday Challenges and was chosen as MVP for several weeks. Thanks to “Invincible Baseball Team” Joon cultivated friendships with some of Korea's top celebrities among them his idol DJ DOC. On June 2009, he took part on the Mnet variety show "Mnet Scandal", a show where a celebrity will go out with a non-celebrity for a week, on the end Joon decided to not keep dating his partner . Aside from guesting on several variety shows, on July 2009, he took on a theatrical role in the musical Youthful March (젊음의 행진).On November 26, 2009 he tested positive for H1N1; although, he made a speedy recovery his agency was forced to cancel a 2D1N trip to the Philippines for a fanmeeting on the 30th.

Kim Joon starred in a mobile drama along side Nao Minamisawa titled Pygmalion’s Love, a joint Korea-Japan production broadcasted on Japanese Mobile TV station BeeTV, which reached #1 mobile drama in Japan and was shown on March 2010. On May 2010, T-MAX had their comeback stage with "Don’t Be Rude" which was also quite popular as a song for the World Cup. "Don’t Be Rude" was the first single from their studio album "Born To The Max". "Words That I Can Say" was the song they promoted as a follow up single, with Korean actors Oh Ji Ho, Yoon So Yi & Kim Joon himself starring in the MV of the song.

He is currently staring on the new KBS2's drama “Homicide Division” where he plays detective ‘Shin Dongjin,’ who specializes in cyber investigations, but has trouble dealing with real-life cases because of his fear of corpses.Upon the sight of one, he’ll habitually faint, much to the criticisms of those he works with, but one of his biggest charms is his ability to make others laugh, even in serious situations.

Starting March 2011, Kim Joon will be studying to earn his master’s degree on Global Culture Content at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. A representative of his agency commented, “Kim Joon has taken an interest in spreading Korean culture after he was able to meet with various international fans and after being named as an honorany ambassador of Global Tourism Etiquette. He wants to study the production of Hallyu culture content and its spread on a deeper level.”

His group, T-Max, is currently preparing for their comeback album and entrance to the Japanese market, set for the first half of 2011.

Kim Joon to quit T-Max to act full-time

The title says it all: It’s being reported that Kim Joon is capitalizing on his newfound Boys Before Flowers fame to pursue a full-time acting career.

This means he’ll be dropping out of kpop group T-Max, which probably is a good idea since he’s been stretching himself thin trying to keep up with a busy shooting schedule while also promoting his group. Plus, his absence presents difficulties for the other members.

I say, good for everyone involved. I was skeptical of Kim Joon’s casting initially, since he’d never acted before, but while his character remains on the sidelines of the story, he comes across as a natural. He has potential and screen presence. Plus, T-Max is still a relatively new group (they debuted with a single album in 2007), so this is as good a time as any for them to part ways.

With Kim Joon’s profile skyrocketing (I’d bet higher than even he’d expected), he (like the rest of the cast) is already fielding offers for a follow-up project. According to his rep, Kim is carefully considering his next step, preferring to pick a role that will take him to the next level as an actor. (For example, he’s an enthusiastic fan of arthouse director Kim Ki-duk (Coast Guard, 3 Iron) and would dearly love to work with him, for free if necessary.)

Kim Joon new drama Serious Crime Squad

It’s been announced that a charming singer-turn-actor T-Max’s Kim Joon (Boys Over Flowers) will return to play on the small screen by joining the cast of upcoming action-investigation drama tentatively titled ‘Crime Squad’.

In the drama, he will take the role of Shin Dong Jin who is a cowardly cop, specializing in cyber-crime investigation. He’s described as a fearful character who can’t stand looking of corpses. He will habitually faint in the field once he sees it, leading him to receive criticisms from his colleagues.

‘Crime Squad’ starring Kim Seung Woo (IRIS), Song Il Gook (Jumong, A Man Called God), Sun Woo Sun (Will it Snow at Christmas?), and Park Sun Young (Sons of Sol Pharmacy House, Winter Bird), will revolve around detectives with different personalities investigating various crime cases with their own methods.

Kim Joon Accepted to Graduate School

T-MAX’s Kim Joon was recently accepted to graduate school at the Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies.

The idol was accepted to the academy without any celebrity royalties. Because he missed so many classes while filming for ‘Boys Before Flowers,’ he transferred to the Cyber Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies for Japanese. He is now looking forward to his graduation within the next year or so.

T-MAX’s management company stated, “We feel proud of Kim Joon, as he spread knowledge of the Korean language to his fans through his activities in various foreign countries. He said that he wants to further study the Korean culture and contents in depth.”

T-Max (티맥스) is a Korea Boy Band under Two-step Entertainment. It is supposed to be the South Korean version of Japanese group Arashi. Members consist of 3 vocalists and a main rapper, who are Shin Minchul (vocalist), Kim Joon or Kim Hyung Joon (rapper), Hanbi and Chanyang who joined T-Max in 2010. Their former member: Park Yunhwa (vocalist).

The name T-Max suddenly risen up after the sang a soundtrack for Korean hits drama "Boys Over Flowers". One of their member, Kim Hyung Joon also starred in the drama as Song Woo Bin.

T-max released their first full album “Born to the Max” in 2010 as a 4 member group.

Father of Beast's maknae Dongwoon recently spoke out about about his son becoming an idol as well as Jaebum's incident with netizens that occurred four months ago.

Dongwoon's father, Son Illak, who is a professor of international manners for hotel adminstration at Cheongju University, recently wrote an article in A House Full of Happiness magazine regarding Jaebum's situation and giving his son some advice.

In his article, titled "Tolerance of 2PM's Jaebum", he writes in a letter style giving words of encouragement to his son as well as his own views about Jaebum's incident.

How could we expect a young adult that has barely grown out of his teen years to be of perfect morality and ethics? Yang Yo Seob is a main vocalist of Korean Boy Band Beast. With his blonde hair, Yang Yo Seob can be very easy to be recognized.

Noted to be the "cute" member of BEAST. Yo Seob was a former M Boat Entertainment (a former sister company of YG Entertainment trainee before he transferred to Cube Entertainment. Why can’t B2ST’s Yoseob fall asleep?

Keeping in mind that this hot group made their debut with ‘Bad Girl’ a little over a year ago, B2ST has been running ragged with an incredibly hectic schedule, as they’ve released four mini albums in just one year.

The group has barely had any rest, since on top of their weekly performances for their fourth title track ‘Beautiful‘, the members also have their own personal schedules to digest (Lee Ki Kwang for “Hot Brothers” and Yoon Doojoon for MBC “All My Love”), in addition to preparing for their first independent concert.

With only 2 hours of rest time, the members fall fast asleep even in moving vehicles. However, it’s been revealed that Yang Yoseob seems to be the only one who can’t sleep. Lee Ki Kwang revealed, “Because of Yoseob vocals, he has a lot of high-pitched parts of songs. That’s why he purposely stays up when the other members are sleeping – he’s scared that his throat will close up while he’s sleeping and his voice won’t sound right once he wakes up.”

Yo Seob added, “I can’t help stressing over it. I tend to want to sound perfect even while I’m practicing. I guess that’s why I’ve been losing weight. I didn’t think we would be able to release so many albums in such a short and busy period of time. I’m happy the songs have come out as good as we’ve practiced. Since we have a long way to go, we will work harder to show a better side of ourselves.”

On MBC at Show! Music Core that was broadcasted on the 4th, the cuts from the 2010 Incheon Hallyu Concert that occurred on the 29th of August in Incheon Moonhak Worldcup Stadium was displayed. On that day, Yang Yoseob had gone on stage and had sung "Special" and "Shock" live and won a round of applause from the fans with his safe vocal ranges. However attentions turn toward him once again after that it had been revealed that Yang Yoseob was not in his regular condition. He had gone on the stage even though he wasn't perfectly recovered from the surgery he had taken to remove the infection in his nose.

Someone from Cube Entertainment, BEAST management, stated, Truthfully, on that day, Yang Yoseob hadn't been 100% fully recovered. He was mostly recovered, however since we decided that it was going to be hard for him to sing live, we wanted to cancel the schedule. Then they revealed that Yang Yoseob had stated, We need to keep the promise with the fans. In addition Cube Entertainment added, since we knew that it was going to be hard singing live because of the surgery we decided to have background music. However Yang Yoseob told us, I'll give it a try, and he was able to fully sing on the live stage.

He had been fully able to sing live successfully even in a situation where he had to control his breathing only with his mouth since it was hard for him to breathe through his nose.

Jang Hyun Seung BEAST Lead Vocalist Profile

Jang Hyun Seung is a lead vocalist of Korean Boy Band Beast. Hyun Seung first received media attention as a trainee under YG Entertainment, when he was preparing to debut as a member of Big Bang. He appeared in 10 out of 11 episodes of the Big Bang Documentary, but he wasn't chosen to be a part of the final group formation by YG's president.

I've never thought that G-Dragon has this extent of having this attitude of showing support for erstwhile fellow YG Trainee/BigBang aspirant Jang Hyun-seung. For those who are new to K-pop scene (actually, it's these most recent times when I get hooked onto K-pop boybands), there was a show called THE BIGBANG DOCUMENTARY wherein there will be 6 trainees will undergo gruelling training and selection to YG Entertainment's BIGBANG. Initially, YG wants to select only 4 members until under some circumstances, in ended up 5. Beast is a new boyband from South Korea under CUBE Entertainment. The group consists of 6 members. Originally the group were known as B2ST (Boys to Search for Top). However, their name was changed to BEAST (Boys of EAst Standing Tall),a couple of days before they debuted.

Beast members consists of : Yoon Du Jun, Jang Hyun Seung, Yong Jun Hyung, Yang Yo Seob, Lee Gi Kwang, Son Dong Woon.

On October 14, 2009, they released their first mini-album BEAST Is the B2ST on the same day they also held a showcase performance on MTV. To date, the mini-album has shipped over 10,000 copies. Before debuting the group was featured in a MTV documentary titled MTVnB2ST, which showcased their journey leading up to their debut.

Beast Debut 2009

In late 2009, news articles started to surface online about Cube Entertainment's new group, B2ST (pronounced "BEAST") as explained by member, Dong Woon, in episode 8 of their MTV documentary MTV B2ST which showcased their journey leading up to their debut. On October 14, the group's first mini-album, Beast Is The B2ST, was released selling over 20,000 copies in October 2009 and has even further reached 40,000 copies sold in sales to date.

A Cube Entertainment representative for BEAST revealed that they have sold all the albums they printed in the first batch and are tentatively planning to produce 5,000 more and also considering reissuing AJ's album due to strong demands. On October 16, they made their live debut on KBS Music Bank with their debut track, "Bad Girl". The group became very popular after debuting, following various commercial calls from companies around Asia. On December 2, 2009, BEAST won their first award, Rookie of the Month, awarded by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It was later announced by Cube Entertainment that

Universal Records would be assisting BEAST and 4minute with international launches of their albums.

BEAST, the only rookie to sell over ’100,000′ albums in 2010!

Boy group BEAST consisting of 6 members have made a splendid achievement as a rookie idol by selling more than 100,000 copies in 2010.

According to album sold research site Hanteo Chart on the 11th, BEAST who debuted last year on October have sold 107,006 copies from January 1st to October this year with 4 of their released albums including their first album.

BEAST is the only rookie group out of all the boy/girl groups who have sold over 100,000 copies when they have debuted only a little past a year now. This proves BEAST’s formidable popularity.

For a rookie group, Beast have shown that their fan base is a force to be reckoned with. This year alone, they topped every other rookie group with album sales exceeding 100,000 in copies. That is a whole lot of Shock and Soom going around.

Although they only came in 5th in total album sales for the year (SNSD took the lead with 300,000 copies sold), they still managed to impress, especially as a rookie group.

Actress Go EunAh and brother MBLAQ‘s Mir have been gathering attention after their excessive display of skinship.

On the 30th, during an episode of Mnet ‘Scandal‘, Go EunAh was on a date with her boyfriend when her younger brother Mir appeared. Go EunAh wanted to get her family’s appraisal on her boyfriend, which is why she called him.

Once Mir had to go on his way, Go EunAh hugged him tightly, sad that he had to go. Go EunAh then told Mir to, “Give me a kiss,” cutely. Mir rejected her request by saying, “I can’t right now.” Go EunAh continued to act cute by saying, “Why can’t you right now, just do it like you always do.”

Cheondoong Thunder MBLAQ Rapper Profile

Park Sanghyun or Cheondoong is the rapper of Korean Boyband MBLAQ. Cheondoong which means Thunder is the younger brother of 2NE1 vocalist Sandara Park.

Like his sister, he lived in the Philippines and is fluent in Tagalog and is also conversational in English.

Cheondoong wants to work with 2NE1′s

The figure that MBLAQ’s Cheondoong wants to work with is 2NE1′s CL.

Even as 2NE1′s Sandara Park’s younger brother, in their recent interview Hello TV, he selected world star Rain (Jung Jihoon) and 2NE1′s CL as the people whom he wanted to work with.

Cheondoong said “It was after seeing Rain’s performance that made me decide to become a singer”, pointing out Rain as his role model. In addition, he revealed his strong ambitions, “I often hear that I’m nice because I appear to be gentle, but just because people say that I’m nice, there’s no reason that I can’t be strong”, “Rather than giving up on everything like Rain, I’m going to work hard in order to become the best singer, and in order to achieve my dream, strongly”.

2NE1’s Sandara Park is currently conducting a 12 part interview dubbed Star Diary with Asia E. In Part 10 of the Star Diary, she talks about her relationship with younger brother and MBLAQ Member Thunder (Cheondoong).

With a dongsaeng who is walking down the same path as her, and dreaming the same dream as her, she is not alone in her celebrity life.

Sandara Park’s youngest brother is Cheondoong of MBLAQ. Although he overflows with charisma on stage, to Sandara Park, he’ll always be like a little kid.

“Cheondoong and I are six years a part. Starting from when he was young I’d carry him on my back and stuff and I always worried about him. Even still, when I see him perform on stage, it’s admirable. Isn’t he cute when he shows off his personal talents on variety shows?”

Cheondoong was added late into the group that Bi produced, MBLAQ. Because of this, he had to work twice as hard.

“Starting from when Cheondoong was young, he wanted to become a singer. He worked even harder than me at learning dance. I think he’s much better than me in terms of musical talent. (Laughs)”

While talking about Cheondoong, Sandara Park’s eyes were filled with love. 2NE1 members even said “Sandara Park is like Cheondoong’s stalker.”

“Cheondoong’s apartment is pretty far from ours so I can’t see him often. It seems like my brother’s busier than me. So we chat online and cam together online everyday. If I look at what Cheondoong is doing through webcam, the other members keep saying ‘She’s like one of his crazy fangirls.’”

Sandara Park’s Description – In 1993 when I was in Grade 3, piggybacking my baby brother Cheondoong behind the Daegoo zoo.

Sandara Park is sad that she can’t see Cheondoong often. Their activities are at different times so they can’t even meet at broadcasting stations.

“In television shows, Cheondoong says “Noona, buy me food”. After I see the show and tell him I’ll buy him food, he tells me ‘We’re working on a new album so I don’t have time’. I finally saw him during last year’s ending award shows. I took the snacks from our waiting room and brought them to MBLAQ. Cheondoong needs to eat a lot. (Haha)”

Rather than opposing how out of their three children, the oldest daughter and the magnae are doing celebrity activities, their parents support them. Because of their parents’ support, they were able to be acknowledged as celebrities and receive love from the public.

“While I lived in the Philippines, my mother was my manager. So she was always by my side. These days, she monitors me from home. I’m most scared for when my mom ‘points out things’”.

Sandara Park and Cheondoong are dreaming the same dream. Both want to make ‘Our Studio’.

“I always talk with my brother. How in the future, we’re going to build our own house. The first floor will be where we live with our parents, the second floor will be our studio. Truthfully, even though sometimes I want to stand on stage with my brother, we each have our own places to be.”

MBLAQ’s Thunder to be featured on G.NA’s Music Bank performance later

For the third week of G.NA’s mini-album promotion for “I’ll Back Off So You Can Live”, MBLAQ’s Thunder is going to be featured as the rapper for her performance on Music Bank later. Previously, we have seen rapper Mario, BEAST’s Junhyung & Doojoon and 4Minute’s Hyuna featured as the rapper for her performances in the past weeks. Meanwhile, BEAST’s Doojoon will be featured again for her Music Core performance tomorrow. As for Thunder, he will also be performing on Music Bank with his group MBLAQ with a follow-up song from their 2nd single entitled “One Better Day”. MBLAQ Lee Joon revealed boss Rain's shocking charms. On the April 30th broadcast of SBS Intimate Note 3, Lee Joon appeared as another on of Rain's best friend and revealed an interesting episode.

Lee Joon appeared on Ninja Assassin as the younger version of Rain's character and went to Hollywood with Rain during the filming period. Lee Joon said, "I'm not sure if he remembers this. I went overseas together with Rain for the poster photoshoot. He was swimming coolly. Suddenly he turned and flipped his hair back, and shouted "Hubby~ Hubby~ Hubby~". Everyone got curious.

"I was caught off guard so I stayed still. Hyung asked, "If your girlfriend calls you that, how would you feel?". Then I found out he was acting as a girl." MC Shin Jung Hwan immediately said, "So Rain still has a female role to play".

In this episode, Lee Joon also revealed Rain's three anger stages. "When MBLAQ is rehearsing, Rain gets very angry at times. In the earliest stage, he would quietly point out things. MBLAQ’s Lee Joon Debuts as a Variety Program Host

MBLAQâ€™s Lee Joon or known as the â€˜Little Rainâ€™ has yet another field to demonstrate his skills. As one of the â€˜rising variety-idolsâ€™, he finally landed his first job as a host in a popular variety program.

The variety program on QTV channel is about determining womenâ€™s ranks and it is called SooJungNyuh (short form in Korean). Co-hosting with MC Lee HwiJae, he will work with 10 single female celebrities each week.

On June 30th, Lee Joon started his first recording and expressed his gratitude by saying, “It’s an honor being able to work with 10 beautiful women.” As usual, Lee Joon presented his dancing skill which received positive responses from all the females, including the guest celebrities and the staffs.

Lee Joon also acted in Rain movie "Ninja Assassin". They’re currently rockin’ the kpop scene & have no trouble with popularity & recognition, which is only to be expected as the world star as their producer. Many of you have probably heard of Rain’s new Hollywood movie Ninja Assassin, which has been discussed for quite a while now. Lee Joon had auditioned for the movie back in February, when he was a trainee. He stated, “I sent a PR demo tape of my acting to the agency that was promoting Ninja Assassin. I didn’t expect to get accepted at all, but I found out that I passed the auditions! After I got the message, I went to Germany right after. The filming was two months long, and I had to film many action scenes and had to speak in English. I acted as the younger counterpart of Ji-hoon-hyung’s (Rain) character. I worked [very] hard filming this movie and you guys will be surprised.”

I don’t know about you, but I predict that Ninja Assassin will be a kick-ass movie. It’s already gotten positive reviews from critics and fans who’ve seen the sneak peak of the movie, and has lots of action and gore. The movie will be out Nov. 26th worldwide. If I were you, I’d spend the Thanksgiving Day in the theatre!

G.O thought Super Junior’s Heechul was gay

Although he has engaged in PDA towards men multiple times in the past, Super Junior’s Heechul clarified rumors surrounding his sexual orientation.

During the most recent episode of SBS Strong Heart, Heechul explained, “Because I have always had a feminine appearance long before my debut, I was enveloped in a lot of ridiculous rumors. There was even a love scandal between Mithra and me. That is why Mithra and I decided to only meet each other in secret.”

Mithra of Epik High, who was also present on the show, chimed in, “In the beginning, Heechul and I secretly met up. I even lied to Tablo to go see him.”

Heechul also revealed his weakness to mustaches. “Because I don’t have a mustache, I developed a desire for one. In that sense, I grew to like G.O. I recently obtained his phone number and contacted him. However, every time I called him, he said, “I’m in the middle of eating with Rain” and did not meet with me. In fact, today is the first time we met in person.”

To this, MBLAQ’s G.O replied, “To be honest, instead of having a meal with Rain, I thought Heechul was someone who liked guys.”

MBLAQ’s G.O admitted on Infinity Girls Season 2 that he would want to be paired up with After School’s Jooyeon if he were to be on We Got Married.

He said, “I’ve been friends with Jooyeon for three years and we have completely different personalities. I think we would show a funny marriage life.” Sounds like a good excuse to get closer to her.

G.O Confesses “My age: 24, dating experience: 20 times.”

A cool casanova is in the house! G.O. of MBLAQ reveals details of his dating experiences on the latest Mnet A-LIVE recording.

Appearing together with 24 year old G.O. on the program are singers J.ea (formerly J) and Brown Eyed Soul‘s Jung Yeob.

Going against the conventional confessions of idols who have not yet been exposed to romantic relationships, G.O. broke the mold by revealing, “I’ve had many relationships.” He also added “I’ve had 20 relationships, because I dated at such young age, my feelings for my girlfriend was strong.” His honest confession shocked J.ea.

In response to G.O’s statement that his longest relationship lasted for only a year, J.ea joked, “Well, how long could they get since he’s already been in relationships 20 times at the age of 24“, sparking laughter from the audience.

The program also included performances from all three guests and after G.O and J.ea’s duet, Jung Yeob said, “Somehow I can tell that he was a good lover. He has great emotions when singing, and his looks and his way of talking…” G.O. then playfully replied “Because looks are enough, it’s okay if I don’t sing strongly.”

Not wanting to be left out by being the only one without a confession, Jung Yeob also shared his own romantic experiences, stating “Usually I like romantic stuff. I always plan fun events. Because whenever we meet I will give my girlfriend flowers as presents, the ahjumma at the flower store would think I’m buying for different girls.”

Jung Yeob also advised budding romantics by including, “Girls like it when the guy goes on his knees in front of many people and give the girl flowers, or when he just gives her a hug.”

And finally, given his numerous dating escapades, G.O. was quick to state “I suck at making events. I prepare well for my girlfriend but she would just ask me to buy flowers,” indicating that his girlfriend would rather him to stick to a simple show of affection or that G.O. was just being modest.

Seung Ho from MBLAQ revealed that his ideal girl is no longer Hwang Bo.

Seung Ho, who was participating in KBS2's Star Golden Bell on the 6th was asked by the MCs if his ideal girl was Hwang Bo, to which he replied 'Not anymore', making Hwang Bo flustered.

He added that he felt that they would have been well matched as they had similar characteristics, but then he figured that he'd get into big trouble so he restrained himself, bringing about much laughter on the set.

Seungho and Lee Joon attract old ladies

MBLAQ’s Joon and Seungho recently appeared on the popular variety show Quiz to Change the World, and they mesmerized the guests with a dance to Oh Yeah! as well as a small individual talent show.

Seungho began with an impressive popping performance followed by an acrobatic dance move befitting a leader, and finally ending it with some good old break dancing. Joon, well Joon showed of his abs. Although it’s hard to tell from the guests’ reactions which one they liked more, the three seconds of abs or the thirty-seconds power dance.

However, what is easy to tell is that Joon and Seungho definitely made the female guests all hot and bothered with their performance. I bet that if they wanted to, they could have any of those ladies. Yes, ANY of them. The problem is whether they actually want any of those ladies, considering that some of the ladies are old enough to be their grandmas.

Joon and Seungho shouldn’t feel too bad about attracting old women though because at least there’s still that crucial “wo” before the word men. The old women I seem to be so good at attracting are often heavily lacking on the “wo” part. Funny thing is you would think that a heavy emphasis on being old would make up for the lack of “wo,” but nope, it only makes it worse.

MBLAQ (엠블랙) is a 5 Korean Boy Band created by Rain Bi under J.Tune Entertainment. The member consists of Seung Ho (Yang Seung Ho : Leader), G.O (Jung Byung Hee : Main Vocalist), Joon (Lee Chang Sun : Vocalist), Thunder/Cheon Doong (Park Sang Hyun : Vocalist/Rapper), and Mir (Bang Cheol Yong : Rapper). The group debuted in October 9, 2009 at Rain's Legend of Rainism concert.

MBLAQ History

Having trained for two years, MBLAQ was first announced on 21 September 2009, with an appearance in Nylon magazine. The group appeared alongside Rain, in his Legend of Rainism concert. They performed various songs from their produced EP, Just BLAQ and were met with praise, with many spectators at the concert and fans considering them as the next DBSK. The group released teasers for their debut song, "Oh Yeah" on October 12, with the music video being released two days later. Coinciding with the music video, MBLAQ's debut single album Just BLAQ, was released on the same day, topping various charts in South Korea. The next day, the group made their broadcast debut on M.net's M!Countdown, performing "Oh Yeah".

In early December, the group debuted in Japan, following their performance during Rain's fan meeting- resulting in a documentary being produced surrounding their stay in Japan. Later that month, the group commenced promotions for their follow up track, "G.O.O.D Luv", with two music videos released, an 'unofficial' MV released prior to the 'official' MV which was released on December 10, 2009.

On May 19, 2010, the group released their second single album, Y. The music video for the title track, "Y" was released on the same day at midnight with teasers being released from May 6. MBLAQ claimed first place on the 3rd of June 2010 on the music show M! Countdown.

MBLAQ's official fanclub was announced in November 2009, with the given name of A+, or in Hangul, 에이프러스. The colour of the official fanclub is Pearl Chocolate.

MBLAQ in Television

- Year 2009

In late 2009, MBLAQ's first aired program was M.Net's MBLAQ - The Art of Seduction, which received record ratings for the cable TV's program.

With their trip to Japan for Rain's fanmeet, music channel M.Net Japan decided to film a documentary of their stay, selecting them as the first stars of their show '2010 KPOP Star' series. The documentary, called Yo! Tokyo, aired in early 2010, showing the public their experience in Japanese culture and traditions over a period of four days.

On December 15 2009, it was announced that the group would be part of Season five of the Idol Show (Hangul: 아이돌 군단의 떴다! 그녀!, which translates to Idol Army, She Has Arrived!), with the first episode airing a day later. MBLAQ filmed a total of 16 episodes.

- Year 2010

From February 18 2010, MBLAQ members G.O and Joon took on the role of co-hosts (MCD Guys) for the music show M! Countdown.

To coincide with the 2010 FIFA World Cup, MTV Korea created a program where members of male idol groups formed a soccer team to compete against other soccer teams. The 14-member team consisted of members from U-KISS, ZE:A, F.Cuz, and D-NA (Dae Guk Nam Ah), with MBLAQ members being Seung Ho, Joon and Mir.

Cheon Doong, having lived in the Philippines, participated in the cable TV show, Mom, I've gone crazy for English with fellow singer Nicole of Kara, where he was an English mentor to young children.

In addition to his MC role in M! Countdown, Joon also took on the role of MC for QTV's Ranking Women, however he has since left the program to focus on his music activities.

Following their promotions for Y, MBLAQ were cast in the final series of M.Net's 'Celebrities Go to School'. Their mentor for the show is actor Kim Soo-Ro. The show started airing in August 2010.

MBLAQ have filmed a cameo in Rain's 2010 drama Fugitive (Korean: 도망자), where filming took place at the Saitama JEFF Hall. The members of MBLAQ have also made an appearance in Joon's drama Housewife Kim Kwan Ja's third Activity.

MBLAQ in Fugitive Drama Ost

KBS 2TV’s newest Wednesday-Thursday drama “Fugitive“ (aka “Runaway Plan B“) recently aired its pilot episode with an impressive 20.7% viewing rating. Intrigued by the all-star cast, viewers have transferred their high expectations onto the OST, particularly with the main theme song, “Running & Running.”

“Running & Running” is a song that goes well with the exciting storyline of “Fugitive,” and is sung by Rain’s protegés, the boys of MBLAQ.

A representative of “Fugitive” recently stated in a phone call with Newsen, “Artists who have participated in the drama’s OST include Shin Seung Hoon, MBLAQ, Jea of Brown Eyed Girls, 4minute and rookie artist Orange. The album will be released later on.”

Shin Seung Hoon will be singing the theme song for Rain’s character, while Jea of Brown Eyed Girls will be singing the theme song for the female lead, Lee Na Young.

Furthermore, the full OST album is to be comprised of a total of 17 tracks.

In early 2009, Jung landed his first acting role as Kang Shin-woo in the SBS drama You're Beautiful, which aired from October 7 to November 26, 2009. As the series revolves around the life of a musical group, Jung played the role of the bassist in the faux idol band A.N.Jell along with fellow co-stars Jang Geun-suk, Park Shin-hye and Lee Hongki of FT Island. CN Blue in Japan Career

Around June 2009, CN Blue began making street performances and performing gigs in live clubs in Japan. They made their formal debut as an indie band in Japan with their all-English tracks first mini-album, Now or Never on August 19, 2009. On November 25, 2009, the band released their second mini-album, called
Voice, in Japan. The title track was recorded in Japanese while the rest are entirely in English.

It was announced on the band's official blog site on February 1, that they are going to be holding a one-man live show on March 20 in celebration of the release of their first album, titled, Thank U. A preview of their title track "a.ri.ga.tou" was posted on their official MySpace in late February.

They are set to release their first Japanese single, titled, "The Way" on June 23, 2010 in Japan. The single will contain three tracks.

CN Blue in South Korea Career

It was revealed in January 2010 that CN Blue will make their official debut in South Korea with a debut mini-album, Bluetory, on January 14, 2010. It was also announced that teasers featuring each of the four members will be released on different dates. On January 7 (Korean time), a MV teaser was released on

their official site, featuring the band's formerly stated Lee Jong Hyun with the band's new song, "I'm a Loner" (외톨이야). Drummer Kang Minhyuk's teaser was released on January 8. On January 11 and January 13 MV teasers for Jungshin and Yonghwa was released respectively.

The day before their official debut, they held their first fan showcase to a large group of fans. On January 14, the band released their debut mini-album and took the number one spot on the Mnet real time charts, along with the second spot on the Hanteo charts. They are the only rookie group to do so in 2010,

beating out fellow rookies, ZE:A and F.Cuz. The group made their live debut stage at KBS Music Bank on January 15. They took the #1 spot on album sales charts and all music charts five days into their debut.

On January 29's episode of Music Bank, the group won their first K-Chart with their hit song, "I'm a Loner." They then won their first Mutizen award on SBS Inkigayo on the 31st.

In April, the band's official fanclub was named BOICE, which is a combination of Blue and Voice. In early May, FNC Music announced that the band will be coming back with their second mini-album on May 19, 2010. The title of the album was titled Bluelove and a track composed by Yonghwa, "Love Light" (사랑 빛) was unveiled on May 10th and then the MV teaser of his official single called "Love" was released on their official site on May 12th. They made their comeback stage on M! Countdown on the 20th.

Lee Sungmin is the vocalist of Korean Boyband Super Junior. Like Han Geng, Sung Min also mastering in martial arts, and is one of the two members of the group to frequently perform Chinese martial arts in Super Junior's dance routines.

Sungmin Replaced fellow Super Junior member Kang In at Reckless Radio and now DJs with Soo Young that was replaced by Sunny from Girl's Generation. He won the 1st SM Youth Best Selection Best Outward Appearance in 2001.

Sungmin began to use his full name "Lee Sung Min" when he acted in "Sisters of the Sea".

Lee Sungmin biography

Sungmin was born in the Ilsan district of Goyang, Gyeonggi. He has a younger brother, Lee Sungjin. He entered the 2001 SM Youth Best Contest and jointly won first place for the Best Outward Appearance award with future band mate Donghae. Together, they signed a contract with SM Entertainment and began to receive training in singing, dancing, and acting.

In 2002, Sungmin was briefly placed in a project R&B group with Xiah and future band mate Eunhyuk. Along with Typhoon, Rose, and Attack, the six of them made their first television appearance in a show called Heejun vs. Kangta, Battle of the Century: Pop vs. Rock Moon Hee-jun taught Typhoon, Rose, and Attack on how to properly sing rock while Sungmin, Xiah, and Eunhyuk were taught other singing techniques by Kangta. The six trainees quickly separated a year later, however, when Typhoon, Rose, and Attack debuted as member of rock band TRAX and Xiah debuted as a member of TVXQ. Both Sungmin and Eunhyuk joined ten other trainees and formed the group Super Junior 05, being the first generation of the rotational boy band Super Junior. Right before Super Junior debuted, Sungmin made a brief appearance on the MBC drama Sisters of the Sea, playing young Kang Dong-shin.

Sungmin became a trainee under SM Entertainment after he won first place at the 1st SM Youth Best Selection Best Outward Appearance in 2001 with future band mate Donghae. In 2002, Sungmin and future band mate Lee Hyuk-jae was placed in a project R&B group with Kim Jun-su, Jay Kim, No Min-woo, and Kang Jung-woo and made a brief appearance in a show called Heejun vs. Kangta Battle of the Century Pop vs. Rock where Heejun and Kangta taught them techniques on singing. However, a year later the group was separated. Jay Kim, No Min-woo, and Kang Jun-woo debuted as members of The TRAX and Kim Jun-su, now known as Xiah Junsu, debuted as a member of TVXQ. Sungmin, however, stayed with Lee Hyuk-jae also known as Lee Eunhyuk and both of them debuted as members of Super Junior two years later. On August 2005, he appeared briefly in the MBC drama, "Sea of the Sisters", playing young Kang Dong-shin. In the soap, he asks a girl to steam-cook sweet pumpkin for him. The fans that found the video of the soap found him very cute, asking him to say the line on radio shows etc, which he did and led to him earning the nickname.

Siwon's parents disapproved him pursuing in an entertainment career, so he had to secretly audition. He successfully passed auditions, and after consideration, his parents allowed him to sign under the talent agency SM Entertainment. Siwon said that although his father allowed him to sign the contract, he would not give any help to his son. He later moved into dormitories with fellow trainees and he was trained in areas of singing, acting, and dancing. He made his first appearance in a music video of The Grace's Dana when he was still a solo singer in 2003. A year after, he made a brief appearance in the short drama, Precious Family. In 2005, Siwon made a brief appearance in the KBS drama Eighteen, Twenty-Nine as the young Kang Bong-man.

Choi Si Won in Super Junior

Not long after Siwon's first television appearance, SM Entertainment released an announcement that he would officially debut as one of the twelve members in a boy band. This band later became officially known as Super Junior 05, the first generation of the rotational music group Super Junior. A few months before the debut of Super Junior 05, Siwon made his first official media appearance with band mate Han Geng as a runway model in a fashion show by Bum Suk.

Super Junior 05 officially debuted on November 6, 2005 on SBS's music program Popular Songs, performing their first single, "TWINS (Knock Out)". Their debut performance attracted over 500 fans and also garnered oversea viewers from both China and Japan. Super Junior-M debuted in China on April 8, 2008 at the 8th Annual Music Chart Awards with the release of their first single music video, "U". The subgroup released their first Chinese-language studio album, Me on May 2, 2008 to critical success. Choi Si Won in acting career

After Siwon's appearances in Eighteen, Twenty-Nine and "Precious Family", he was casted in a larger role for the mini-series Spring Waltz, playing the supporting role Park Sang-woo, the teenage cousin of a diligent and working young woman. Not long after Siwon's musical debut, he was casted in a large supporting role in the Hong Kong epic film A Battle of Wits starring opposite Andy Lau. The cast promoted the movie throughout China with a short tour of four cities in November 2006. While the film received mixed reviews, Siwon garnered positive notices for his performance. He also received praises from co-star Lau, stating that Siwon is a wonderful actor and that he sets a good example for young Hong Kong idols.

Half a year after the release of A Battle of Wits, Siwon starred in the high school mystery/comedy film Attack on the Pin-Up Boys with other Super Junior members. He played the lead role as a controlling and severe class president who was one of the popular possible subjects of being attacked by mysterious forces. Despite positive critical ratings, that film did not do well in the box-office, but all four versions of the film's DVD were all sold out and broke chart records. Few months later, Siwon was cast in mini-drama Legend of Hyang Dan as the lead role, Lee Mong-ryong.

In January 2010, Siwon was confirmed to be a lead role in the upcoming SBS drama, Oh My Lady airing starting March 22. It is a romantic comedy about a top star who finds himself living with his manager, a 35 year old woman who is trying to earn money to have custody of her child. This is Siwon's first lead role in about 2 years.

On June 17, 2010, it was confirmed that Choi Si Won would take the role of Kim Joon Ho, a new data analyst in the drama "Athena" a spin-off of just ended drama Iris.

Kyuhyun is the youngest (maknae) member of Korean Boyband Super Junior with Kim Kibum. Kyuhyun April Car Accident

In the early morning of April 19, 2007, just one month before Kyuhyun's first anniversary in Super Junior, Kyuhyun with Super Junior members Leeteuk, Shindong, Eunhyuk, and two managers were all hospitalized due to a serious car accident when returning from the Super Junior Kiss the Radio show that night. The driver lost control of the vehicle as the van flipped over on its right side. Kyuhyun, who was sitting behind the driver's seat when the accident occurred, was the most injured and had a fractured hip, pneumothorax from fractured ribs, and facial scratches and bruises. He was slipping in and out of consciousness and was mute because of the shock. Kyuhyun spent 6 days in the ICU before he was moved to a regular hospital room. Kyuhyun also did not need the respiratory machine anymore to support his breathing, though it was said that he was only able to walk on his own one month after the accident.Kyuhyun was discharged on July 5, 2007 after 78 days.

Due to the accident, throughout 2007, Kyuhyun's participation in many of Super Junior's activities was limited. He appeared in episode 7 onwards of SBS's Explorers of the Human Body, however his injuries only allowed him to compete in some activities. Despite still recovery from his injuries, Kyuhyun wowed the audience with his mind-blowing vocals.

Kyuhyun scandal with Thai Superstar

The Super Junior maknae is said to be having a fling with young Thai superstar Kwan Usamanee. A lot of Thai netizens have been reacting to this news and more information is said to be released in the next few days. SM Entertainment, as well as all the band members denied this. When Super Junior released their second single, "It's You", Kibum was noticeably absent again from all promotions. SM finally issued a statement stating that Kibum was busy with solo projects, and re-confirmed he would be absent from promotional activities due to prior engagements, and that he hadn't left Super Junior. It was later confirmed that Kibum would not appear on the Super Junior tour (July 2009), "The Super Show II" due to an injury to his foot, which lead to six weeks of rest from physically straining activities. After the release of "Sorry, Sorry - Answer", Kibum was completely absent from the video and the song. In the group's latest release, "It's You", Kibum had no singing solo. Kibum revealed his upcoming plans in the near future, although they still remain tentative as of now. He stated, “Firstly, I am in the process of preparing for the play and releasing the drama. Whether I will participate in the fourth album, resume solo activities, or continue acting, need to be further discussed with my company."

It is also confirmed that Kibum will not be participating in the 4th album, as he will be focusing on his acting career.

Kim Kibum has expressed “I never think of quiting Super Junior just for once”.

There was doubt from fans and people in music field if Kibum had some conflict with the company so that he didnt attend the promotion of vol3 “Sorry sorry” with Super Junior . There were also rumors that he quitted Suju and not in a good terms with the other members. Kibum has been absent from Super Junior’s activities begin from first performance of “Sorry sorry” in March until the year-end music award ceremony in December.

Regarding to that problem, Kibum said “I coudlnt attend the promotion because I had to practice for the movie and the play . I think that acting is also one of various field of Super Junior’s activities. I didnt attend the music show doesnt mean I’m not a member of Super Junior”.

He continued with “I know that there are fans who say I dont quit but they’re all scared. Last month when Suju got the daesang award at Golden disk, I has called and talked with the members everyday. I may live away from them but my heart is full with joy more than anyone else”

But Kibum also said he couldnt confirm if he will attend the promotion with Super Junior from now on or not. He said “For now I only consider to attend in play and drama. I will have to talk with the company more to decide whether I will participate in vol4 or do solo activities or just focus on acting for the time being”.

Lee HyukJae or better known as Eunhyuk is a member of Korean boyband Super Junior, in which his position in the group is the lead rapper and one of the four lead dancers.

Eunhyuk has the same birth name as comedian Lee Hyukjae. This is why he chose the name Eunhyuk. "Eun" meaning silver, hence his jewel boy nickname.

He is also very close to DBSK's Xiah Junsu, they met in middle school and have since been best friends.

Eunhyuk has starred in several korean drama such as Rainbow Romance, We Got married, Let's Go Dream team Season 2.

Eunhyuk pre-debut

As a young boy, in 2nd grade, Hyukjae first became interested in dancing. Watching his older sister practicing for a school talent show, he got inspired to dance himself. The next year, he entered his own school's talent show with friends. Enjoying every minute of rehearsals and performing, he developed a love for dancing. He would watch videos and continue to practice in order to be a dancer of the highest caliber that he could reach.
In the year 2000, Hyukjae auditioned for Starlight Casting System 2000 and became an SM Entertainment trainee soon after when he was advised to audition. He and Junsu were the only two who made it through that particular audition. Two years later, Hyukjae, along with Sungmin, Xiah Junsu (DBSK) were in a project group. This group made a brief appearance on a show called “Heejun vs. Kangta Battle of the Century Pop vs. Rock."

Unfortunately the trio group was cancelled and Junsu was moved to Dong Bang Shin Ki. When DBSK debuted, Hyukjae, though still a trainee was absolutely thrilled for Junsu (his best friend) and was inspired to never give up. Shortly thereafter, on November 6, 2005, he debuted as an official member of Super Junior 05 as the lead dancer and rapper.

Eunhyuk career in Super Junior

Eunhyuk was born Lee Hyuk-jae in Neunggok, Goyang, Gyeonggi. In 1999 when he turned thirteen, he auditioned for SM Entertainment through the company's Starlight Casting System with childhood friend Xiah. Xiah was selected to sign a contract with the company soon after, but Eunhyuk failed the audition. He auditioned again the following year and was finally selected through showcasing his rapping and dancing abilities. Under SM Entertainment, Eunhyuk was further trained in singing, dancing, acting, and had brief Mandarin Chinese language courses. In 2002 Eunhyuk, Xiah, and another trainee Sungmin were placed in a project R&B group. A year later, the trio along with three future members from TRAX (Jay Kim, No Minwoo, Kang Jungwoo) made a brief appearance in a show called Heejun vs. Kangta, Battle of the Century: Pop vs. Rock, in which Moon Hee-jun and Kangta individually taught them techniques on different types of singing. Along with Donghae, he also choreographs some of Super Junior's dance routines.

He is one of the lead dancers in his band. He's also known as the dancing machine, which he is known by many people as a great dancer.

During his career with Super Junior, Eunhyuk was put into two subgroups, smaller groups that are branched off of the larger Super Junior group. In February 2007, he was placed in the trot-singing Super Junior-T. A year later, he became a member of Super Junior-Happy.

Lee Dong Hae is one of the four lead dancers of boy band Super Junior and is part of its subgroup, Super Junior-M. Donghae is also one of the first four Korean artists to appear on Chinese postage stamps.

Donghae fortunately passed but was forced to move to Seoul and leave behind his family in Mokpo.

In 2001, Donghae won first place along with Lee Sungmin (Super Junior) in SM’s Youth Best Contest for Best Outward Appearance. He was then accepted into SM Entertainment and began training in dancing, singing, and acting. He was soon thereafter placed in a five member group along with future Super Junior member Park Jungsu (LeeTeuk) that fell through. Names of the group included “Smile”, “OK”, and “Pricor”. In 2004, Donghae was placed into the project group Super Junior and went on to debut in Super Junior ’05. Several days before his official debut, Donghae made an appearance on Shin Dong Yup’s “There Is, There Isn’t” panel.

Lee DongHae Debut and Best Rookie Award

Donghae debuted on November 6, 2005 on SBS Inkigayo in Super Junior performing their first single “Twins (Knock out)”. His looks, personality, and voice captured the hearts of many fans and led him to be one of the most popular stars in Asia today.
When Super Junior won the Best Rookie Award for their song “U” in 2006, Donghae’s speech was made out to his father. He began to shed tears while saying his thank you’s to his father who had passed away just a few months earlier.
On April 5, 2008, Donghae was announced as one of the members of the new sub-unit Super Junior M(Mandarin-previously CHINA). Lee DongHae Acting

Donghae made his acting debut in Super Junior's horror documentary Mystery 6, broadcasted in early 2006. The documentary surrounds Donghae and his peculiar ability to see and feel ghosts. In August 2006, Donghae played the role of a human turned cyborg in the Korean version of BoA's music video drama, "Key of Heart," his first lead appearance in a music video. Donghae's official debut as an actor was in July 2007, with the release of Super Junior's debut film, Attack on the Pin-Up Boys. Donghae stars as a class mate and close friend of Kim Kibum, a high school student who investigates on a mysterious attack on boys in various high schools in town.

In late 2007 Donghae featured in Girls' Generation's "Kissing You" music video, and in early 2009, in Ariel Lin's "Firefly" MV along with band mate Siwon.

The singer proclaimed that he wanted to become a father of adorable children(like these two) in the future. The reason for the photo is unknown, but these two girls have got to be one of the cutest seen.Could they be young fans?

Dong-hae tweeted, “I met two angels. They were very very cute. I love kids. In the future, I’ll be a loving father, right?“ He may be doubting himself, but we all know he will be!

Kim Jong-woon (김종운) or Yesung (예성) is a lead vocal of Korean Boyband Super Junior. Yesung is one of the three lead vocalists of the super boy band Super Junior. He was once a radio host for his own radio program, M.I.R.A.C.L.E for You, which ended its broadcast in September 2007. His stage name Yesung (Hanja: 藝聲) is translated to "art-like voice" and is derived from the phrase "예술가의 성대", meaning "vocal chords of an artist."

Yesung History

Yesung was born in Cheonan, South Chungcheong, has a younger brother, Kim Jong-jin. At a young age, he has expressed interest in singing. In 1999, Yesung joined a broadcasted singing competition and won gold at the Chun-an Singing Competition. In 2001, Yesung's mother signed him up to audition for SM Entertainment's Starlight Casting System, a casting audition that selects artists to sign under the label. He impressed the judges with his "artistic voice", and signed under SM Entertainment that same year. In late 2004, Yesung was recruited into the large all-male rotational boy band Super Junior.

On November 6, 2005, Yesung officially debuted on SBS's music program Popular Songs as a member of Super Junior 05, the first generation of Super Junior. Almost two years later, Yesung became a member of Super Junior-Happy. On May 10, 2008, Yesung was sent to the hospital after he collapsed from running 70 kilometers for a charity marathon. On August 8, Yesung was sent to the hospital again after falling from a 1.5m stage while rehearsing a performance for the KBS music program, Music Bank. The injury severed his old injuries from the neck and waist and Yesung was not treated out of the hospital until two days later.

Yesung alone contributed in the drama OST, Tazza, a highly rated drama which started on September 16, 2008. He sang 사랑참아프다 (Love Really Hurts). This ballad song has been consistently used during the drama itself. He has performed the song live several times, including in the 3rd Anniversary Party of Super Junior.

On 2010, Yesung contributed in the drama OST "Cinderella's Sister", starring Moon Geun Yeung and Chun Jung Myun and started on March 31, 2010. He sang "너 아니면 안돼"(It Has To Be You). This song is a ballad that tells the story about a man who refuse to look for another girl, except for the one he love. Recently, during the epilogue of Super Junior's 2nd Asia Tour Concert, Super Show 2 Manila, he sang this song live on stage and asked his fans to support his new song.

In November 06, 2009, he replaced Jonghyun of Shinee in their Ring Ding Dong performance due to Jonghyun coming down with the swine flu.

Yesung Hosting

From September 2006 to September 2007, Yesung was a host for his own radio program, M.I.R.A.C.L.E for You, where members of Super Junior often appear as guests. However, before the radio show's first anniversary, Yesung had to end the program so he could concentrate on Super Junior's second album, Don't Don. The last air date for the radio show was September 8, 2007.

Yesung Acting

Yesung's career began in the summer of 2007 with the release of Attack on the Pin-Up Boys, a high school comedy starring the whole of Super Junior. Yesung stars as the school's rock star who gets attacked by a mysterious force, which shoots him toward national stardom. In 2009, Yesung was casted to play Jung Myung-soo in the musical South Korean Mountain Fortress, which will show from October 9 to November 4, 2009. Besides performing BONAMANA with Super Junior, Yesung will be singing It Has To Be You by himself, which is the main OST song for popular KBS2TV drama, Cinderella’s Sister.

The song had received really good reviews from everyone and Yesung has also got a lot of praise for his soothing voice. The song in fact was so popular that it ranked highly in Music Bank’s K-Chart at one time despite not promoting it.

With Cinderella’s Sister ending on June 3rd, it would be a satisfying bonus to see Yesung perform the song live on stage tomorrow.

Kim Young Woon (김영운) or Kang In (강인) is the sub vocal of Korean Boyband Super Junior. His name 'Kang-in' (Hanja: 強仁), meaning strong benevolence, was given to him to complement his personality. Kang-In Music Career

Kang-in was scouted by a talent agent and was recommended to sign up for SM Entertainment's talent competitions. In 2002, Kang-in won first place on the fourth annual SM Youth Best Contest and won the best outward appearance award and signed a contract with SM Entertainment.

Along with Hero, U-Know and future band mate Heechul, SM Entertainment placed them in a small project music group called Four Seasons, with each of the four members representing the four seasons of the year. The prospective group never came through; both Hero and U-Know were chosen to join another all-male singing group TVXQ, which debuted in December 2003. With two members gone, the idea of Four Seasons dropped. Kang-in and Heechul were then placed in Super Junior along with ten other trainees under the same company. This project group managed through well, and they debuted two years later in November 6, 2005 under the name Super Junior 05, the first generation of Super Junior.

Kang-In Television and acting career

Before debuting as a Super Junior member, Kangin goes by his birth name as a stage name. He debuted as a host and an actor before being in Super Junior 05. Active in television appearances and hosting, Kang-in earns the highest salary in Super Junior.[2] Five days after Super Junior 05's debut performance, Kang-in became the MC of Mnet's M!Countdown along with Leeteuk and Shindong. The trio stayed as the hosts throughout the remaining year until Kang-in was replaced by Eunhyuk in mid 2006 due to his busy schedule for hosting Reckless Radio and MBC's music program, Show! Music Core. Kang-in also became the television host for two of MBC's popular entertainment programs, Sunday Sunday Night Dong-An Club and Nothing is Impossible. Holding a strong contract with MBC, Kang-in left Reckless Radio in June 2007 to host MBC's Good Friend Radio with Cho Jungrin. In April 2008, Cho's hosting spot was replaced by Taeyeon. Kang-in's last day of hosting the program was on April 19, 2009. From December 2008 to May 2009, Kang-in and actress Lee Yoon-ji played as a low-income college couple for the popular MBC reality show We Got Married.

Kang-in made a brief cameo appearance in the 2002 SBS drama, A Man and a Woman and in the 2006 MBC sitcom, Rainbow Romance as himself. In 2007, he made a guest appearance in the MBC drama Billie Jean, Look At Me. Kang-in's silver-screen debut was in the Super Junior film Attack on the Pin-Up Boys, premiered in summer 2007. In 2008, Kang-in was chosen to take the role of 'Kang Soo' in the Korean language film, Hello Schoolgirl.

From September 9 to November 9, 2008, Kang-in, along with band mate Heechul, debuted as musical actors through the musical, Xanadu. Xanadu was a 1980's musical film starring Gene Kelly and Olivia Newton John. Xanadu has also been reproduced to a Broadway musical. Heechul and Kang-in, along with Choi Sungwon, performed the same character, Sonny, according to their time slot, and auditions and casting picks will be chosen in a process through reality television.[5]

Kang-in was also casted to take the role of 'Hotae' for MBC's cable comedy drama, Romance Zero. With a total of sixteen episodes, the drama ended in late May 2009 with acceptable reviews and ratings.

Kang In Caught In Between An Assault Case

Super Junior’s member KangIn is currently being caught in between an assault case. From the rumors about him being actually being in the fight and violence, and others, it looks like that he only was an eye-witness to this incident.

Super Junior member KangIn (real name: Kim YoungWun) seems to be involved in a pending assault case. On September 16th, the police has declared that KangIn from Super Junior was incorporated into the case and he wasn’t the one to act on it, but he is just being investigated.

The KangNam police station in Seoul where the investigation is taking place, declared their position to the new reporters. They stated, “For the violent event that occurred in midnight of the 16th,KangIn was in the scene however was not involved with the violent acts and he is only being investigated because he was an eye witness.” They also added, “The rest of the case will be revealed in noon on the 16th (today) and at least for now, we can’t answer any questions.”

It is said that during the investigation, KangIn told the officers that he was in an argument, but had never hit anyone. In addition, he added that he was actually in the place of victim. SM Entertainment had also stated that KangIn was only at the place and that he is being investigated for being and eyewitness and nothing more.

Someone else who was to related to this case said, “One man who seemed to be drunk randomly came in to the room where KangIn was present and displayed an act of violence for no apparent reason, injuring the workers who were trying to stop him. KangIn had left the place from the sudden event, but someone had indicated that KangIn was there making him go through the investigation process.

Kang-in in Military Service

Super Junior‘s Kang-in will enlist in military service this coming July 2010. According to SM Entertainment, although the application is still in progress, the possibility is high.

His agent said, “Kang-in wished to finish the military service as fast as possible and come back to his long-awaited fans.” Kang-in has already finished the physical examination and was graded level two.

As you know, Kang-in faced charges for several accounts of misbehavior, including a DUI and assault. Since then, the young star has been absent from all of Super Junior’s latest activities to take his time for some self-reflection.

Kangin and Yoonji share a kiss

On “MBC’s We Got Married”, Kangin and Yoonji shared a surprise kiss on screen. The fake newlyweds succeeded in their kiss due to the Super Junior members suggestion about playing the ‘peppero game’. It’s basically a game where there’s a peppero stick in between both contestants mouth and the objective is to eat the peppero and for the lips to touch. The members teamed up and played the game themselves before Kangin and Yoonji.

Sung Min, Ryeowook, Eunhyuk, and Shiwon all complained about the pairings but still proceeded with the game. After seeing just the crumbs leftover from the peppero stick, Yoonji was in shock. It seems Heechul’s habit has rubbed off on the boys, especially Shiwon and Eunhyuk, who left virtually nothing.

When it was finally Kangin and Yoonji’s turn, the members all whipped out their cellphones, ready to take pictures. Kangin yelled, “Don’t take pictures!”, as Yoonji tried to hide the peppero with her hands but later gave in to the boys’ pestering. With Sungmin playing the guitar for this romantic moment, Kangin and Yoonji’s lips touched, and they succeeded at the game. At first the two claimed that their lips did not touch, but later on in the interview, Kangin revealed “In truth, our lips touched a little. Even though we’re a fake couple, it made me feel a little strange.”

Out of all the couples on “We Got Married”, this couple is my favorite. They were the ones who made me want to start watching that dying show, not just once, but twice now. Really, they are just too cute :)

Hangeng is the only chinese member in Korean Boyband Super Junior, and also the leader of its subgroup, Super Junior-M.

Being one of the four lead dancers of Super Junior, he is also one of the two members in the group who frequently performs Chinese martial arts in Super Junior's dance routines the other being Sungmin. Han is well-known for his dancing, being particularly skillful in Chinese traditional dances from the 56 Chinese ethnic groups.As a member of a Korean music group, he is an important contributor to the Korean wave in China. One of the first and more influential Chinese artist in Korea, Han was elected as a torch bearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympics for his contribution to the cultural changes between China and South Korea.

Hangeng lives in a dorm with Heechul and Kibum separate from the other members. His idol is Andy Lau; he also admires Lee-Hom Wang and Jang Donggun.

Han Geng History :

Han Geng, an ethnic Nanai from Northeast China, was born in Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang, China. At the age of 13, he was accepted into Central University for Nationalities and left Mudanjiang for Beijing to perfect his craft in dance. In December 2001, Han's friend notified him of a talent scouting audition that was going to be held in Beijing, and his friend encouraged Han to sign up with him. Although hesitant at first, Han agreed to audition with his friend. Together they signed up for the H.O.T. CHINA Audition Casting, a casting audition that was hosted by Korean talent agency and label SM Entertainment. The competition rate was 3000 to 1, and Han had no hopes of getting selected after auditions ended.

After the audition, Han began to work briefly as a cameo actor in short low-budget Chinese films to earn a salary before entering college. In late August 2002, Han was notified that he had been accepted into SM Entertainment. After Han's graduation at the Central University for Nationalities, he was sent to South Korea and received private lessons in singing, dancing, and acting, as well as learning the Korean language. Mid 2003, Han moved into dormitories and lived with other trainees who were under the same label. With the other trainees, he was enrolled in training classes. He started out as a Class C dancer (the lowest class for dancing), but later on he went straight to Class A, skipping Class B. At that time, there were only 4 people in Class A, including Han Geng.

Han was one of the few members of Super Junior who actively appears on variety shows, such as being a regular guest in Love Letter and Star Golden Bell. Being active in variety shows, his popularity within Super Junior grew and Han became popular overseas. Aside South Korea, Han is also well-known in China, where he has made guest appearances in over three different Chinese variety shows, being one of the first K-pop idols to appear in them. Han became a national celebrity in China with the debut of Super Junior's third subgroup Super Junior-M on April 8, 2008 in China. Han Geng Acting :

Han made a cameo appearance with band-mate Eunhyuk as a friend of Heechul in an episode of the MBC drama Rainbow Romance early 2006. In August 2006, Han played the role of a police officer in Zhang Liyin's debut music video "Timeless", starring alongside Lee Yeon-hee and band-mate Siwon. The two-part music video was separately released in September 2006. The music video was ranked #1 for a full four weeks on Melon's Video Chart. In November 2007, Han starred as the lead role in Zhang's debut Chinese music video, "I Will", and "The Left Shore of Happiness" alongside Lee and Siwon. Both music videos were released in February 2008.

Han's first big-scale film was Attack on the Pin-Up Boys, an SM Pictures production that starred all Super Junior members except Kyuhyun. He played the role of a popular basketball player who later got attacked by a mysterious force. Despite positive critical ratings, that film did not do well in the box-office. However, all four versions of the film's DVD were sold out and broke chart records.

Late 2008, Han filmed the CCTV mini drama called Stage of Youth in China. He plays Xia Lei, a young man who has to go through numerous obstacles and challenges in order to achieve his dream to become the new generation's dancing star. The 12-episode drama was a Chinese New Year Special and also a tribute to the Beijing Olympics 2008. It aired on CCTV-Children (少儿频道) from January 19–31, 2009.

News source in China released information in December 2009 that Han filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment (SME) for unfair activity-scheduling. Han is said to have developed gastritis and kidney illness due to his busy schedule assigned by SME and is seeking termination for his exclusive contract with the company. With a legal representative, the lawsuit was filed on December 21, 2009 with the Seoul District Court.

According to the litigation, it has been two years since Han had rested from his continuous activities SME has designated to him and it was rejected every single time Han requested to return to China for rest. Due to the contract obligation and heavy penalties, Han is not to skip any activity even during bad health. It was revealed later on that the non-stopping schedule is not the only unfair element presented in the contract; other problems deemed unsuitable include: that the contract was in SME's favor, a 13-year exclusive contract is too long, the real amount of Han's responsibilities and rights are different from those of the contract, real profit earned by Super Junior members is too low, etc.

SM Entertainment stated that for the sake of Han and Super Junior, they will be in talks to resolve the dispute.

On 9th of March 2010, one month after Han Geng's birthday, he appeared in an interview for the first time. In the interview, he talked about his future plans after leaving SM Entertainment and claimed that he did not regret the path that he has chosen.

Han Kyung is leaving SM Entertainment

Looks like SM Entertainment just might lose another star… After the JaeChunSu trio turned their backs against their company in regards to their unfair contract, Hankyung (Hangeng) of Super Junior decided to follow their lead and attempt to opt out as well.

According to a related source in China, Hankyung filed a request at the Seoul Central District Court to make his contract with SM Entertainment null and void at noon on the 21st.

Hankyung, who is well-known as the only Chinese member in Super Junior, is popular amongst both the Asian youth and media. With his good reputation and talent, many speculated that the singer would go on to have a very successful solo career as well. However, rumor has it that the contract forbade Hankyung from pursuing a solo career, creating a rift that led to this contract termination request.

The press stated,
“No specific details have yet been released towards this termination request. However, it is likely the reason is because of the unfairness the contract holds in regards to Hankyung’s personal development.”

Currently, Hankyung’s legal representative is remaining silent. However, allkpop will be sure to provide further details of this hot news.

Han Geng and SNSD

A Chinese news site reported what seems to be a rumor about Hankyung and SNSD. Long story short, the article indicated that Hankyung’s real reason for wanting to terminate his contract was not just an unfair contract, but mistreatment by SNSD members.

Many Korean fans are questioning whether or not this story on sohu.com was created to intentionally hurt SNSD. Sohu.com reported:

Hankyung wants to leave SM Entertainment not only because of his contract, but because of the mistreatment from other artists of the company. It’s been reported that he has been receiving hurtful comments from SNSD for some time. He was disregarded by people after working very hard and developed psychological disorders.

Sohu.com continued :
Because of the disorders, he wanted to take a break but they denied his request. SNSD has always been sarcastic and used satire against him. For example, they would say to him, “Oppa! Do you think you can look Korean by dyeing your hair blonde?” Comments of this nature hurt Hankyung and he couldn’t take it anymore.

One netizen said, “It seems like Chinese press is trying to make Koreans look bad. This is an article that is trying to twist the truth.”

Kim Hee-chul or Heechul (희철) is a member of Korean boyband Super Junior. He is also a Korean pop singer, actor, presenter. Kim Heechul is the second oldest member of the group after the leader Leeteuk.

Heechul is popularly nicknamed as "Heenim" (희님) by fans and the media. Fans often recognize him as the flower of Super Junior, and his fans became officially known as "petals" (꽃잎).In October 2002, Heechul discovered SM Entertainment's Starlight Casting System on a whim as he was researching on entertainment companies. Heechul and his friends traveled to Seoul to audition. As he was unfamiliar with the area, Heechul missed the open audition hours, but was casted anyways.

Along with Hero, U-Know, and future bandmate Kang-in, SM Entertainment placed them in a small project music group called Four Seasons, with each of the four members representing the four seasons of the year. The prospective group never came through; both Hero and U-Know were chosen to join another all-male singing group TVXQ, which debuted in December 2003. With two members gone, the idea of Four Seasons dropped. Heechul and Kang-in were then placed in Super Junior along with ten other trainees under the same company. This project group managed through well, and they debuted two years later in November 6, 2005 under the name Super Junior 05, the first generation of Super Junior.

Heechul Pre-Super Junior

He was discovered at Starlight Casting System October 2002 where he joined the auditions on a whim with his friends. Initially, Heechul was placed in a four-member project group called, "Four Seasons." This group included other members Jaejoong, Yunho, and Kang-in. The prospective group never came through though as both Jaejoong and Yunho were chosen to join another all-male singing group, TVXQ, which debuted in December 2003. With two members gone, the idea of Four Seasons dropped. Heechul and Kang-in were then placed in Super Junior along with ten other trainees under the same company. In 2007, Heechul started to perform regularly despite still having a few rods that the doctors had attached to his leg. In late April and May 2007, he had recovered enough to be able to take part in Super Junior's strenuous dance routines. The remaining rods in his leg were removed in 2008.

Heechul became part of a Super Junior sub-group, Super Junior-T, which debuted on February 23, 2007 with the Trot “teuroteu” single “Rokuko!!!” (65 로꾸거; [KoKuRo (backwards) spelled backwards]).

At their dorm when they were filming Hankyung’s China 10 days trip diary, Hankyung asked Heechul whether he would miss him. Heechul stayed silent for a second and replied, ‘Are you sick or something?’ And then gave Hankyung a peck on his cheek.

Heechul is also a credible host. Before his music debut, Heechul started his hosting career by being a regular MC for the cable music show Show! Music Tank. Leeteuk Super Junior Oldest and Leader Member

Park Jungsu (박정수) or Leeteuk (이특) is the leader of Korean boyband member Super Junior. and also the oldest member of the group. His stage name literally means "special". He was the first member of Super Junior that was accepted into SM Entertainment.

Leeteuk explained that he uses a stage name due to his desire to have a name with the same effects as Kangta (and to also prevent confusion with veteran actress Park Jung-su). His stage name denotes being "special" as he wants to be a special member in the group. Leeteuk also became known as the "special leader" (특별한리더) of the group.

Leeteuk Pre-Debut

In early 2000, Park Jung-su was scouted by a talent agent in Myeongdong. He was asked to audition for the Starlight Casting System 2000, which soon signed him into SM Entertainment that same year. Park made an extremely brief cameo appearance in the MBC Korean drama All About Eve in 2000 and was also a model for Pepsi. He was then put into a five-member boy band along with his future Super Junior bandmate, Donghae by his talent agency before this idea was dropped. Some of the names for this group were OK, Pricor and Smile. After he was put in Super Junior, Park wanted a stage name similar to Kangta and thus chose the name Leeteuk. Teuk, which means "special." Leeteuk Debut

On November 6, 2005, Leeteuk as a part of Super Junior officially debuted on SBS's Popular Songs performing the group's first single "TWINS (Knock Out)." Being the oldest of the group, Leeteuk was chosen to be the leader of Super Junior, leading and guiding the group in media interviews and schedules. Since the debut of Super Junior, Leeteuk has been a regular MC for M.NET's M!Countdown along with Super Junior members Kang-In and Shindong. However, since late 2006, Eunhyuk replaced Kang-In's position. Due to concert tour schedules and preparations for the new album, Leeteuk, Shindong, and Eunhyuk decided to leave their MC seats, their last day on March 27, 2008. Along with Eunhyuk, Leeteuk is also the DJ for KBS's Super Junior Kiss the Radio since August 21, 2006. Leeteuk Car Accident

Leeteuk became seriously injured in a car accident at the morning of April 19, 2007 when returning home after a recording of Super Junior Kiss the Radio. Along with Leeteuk, fellow members Shindong, Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun, and two managers also became victims. Although Shindong and Eunhyuk suffered minor injuries, Leeteuk and Kyuhyun sustained more serious injuries, which required for the two be kept in the hospital for several more days. Leeteuk had glass shards embedded into his back and above his eyes and had a successful surgery of 170 stitches in removing most of them. Leeteuk was discharged out of the hospital on April 30, 2007. However, Leeteuk may still need further surgeries to remove or minimize the scars. Due to Leeteuk's fast recovery, he was in time to do a last-minute performance in Super Junior's debut film, Attack on the Pin-Up Boys (2007), playing a panda mascot, whch was originally played by Ryeowook.

Leeteuk Cyber Controversy

Three months after the car accident on April 19, Leeteuk appeared as a guest on an episode of School of Rock on July 30, 2007. Leeteuk falsely stated that Korean figure skater, Kim Yu-Na refused his cyworld invitation. After the programme aired, Leeteuk's fans posted over 7,000 comments on Kim's cyworld. Kim's fans counter-attacked Leeteuk's cyworld, posting hateful comments on his cyworld as well. A day later after the incident Kim publicly clarified that she never refused such an invitation. Ultimately, Leeteuk had to post an official apology for the incident and acknowledged that the refusal never occurred. Leeteuk explained that he wanted to make an interesting topic for the television program and did not expect such a negative consequence. A hearing was held to discuss the incident on August 9, 2007. The panel held in August 2007 discussed that it is hard to know whether a guest on a show is telling the truth or not, since Leeteuk did not tell the story during a live broadcast. Since the show did not verify the story before it was aired, the show has to take responsibility for the incident to have occurred. Charges were not pressed against Leeteuk. Regardless of the clashes, both Kim and Leeteuk became closer and they continued to work together to endorse uniforms for IVY Club.

Yoonah has revealed that Leeteuk has wanted to marry her for 7 years. On the show SBS “Strong heart” which was aired on October 27th, Yoonah said “There is a person here who always said to me that I’m his ideal type” and caught attention from other people. Then she pointed out that person is Super Junior’s Leeteuk. She said “I was a trainee since I’m 13. Leeteuk was 20 then and since that time, he always says jokingly to me that I should marry him”. After hearing this, Leeteuk had said without hesitant “Yoonah is really my ideal type” and “Yoonah calls me every night to ask me to give her advice. So I really think that she likes me” MC Lee SeungGi after heard Leeteuk said that Yoonah was his ideal type had said “I always think that Leeteuk is a weird person”. Later on, FTTS’s Brian had said “Yoonah is almost my ideal type…I will make her my girl…” which made Leeteuk covered Yoonah’s ears with both his hands and made everybody laughing.
