Super Junior Kim Hee Chul

Kim Hee-chul or Heechul (희철) is a member of Korean boyband Super Junior. He is also a Korean pop singer, actor, presenter. Kim Heechul is the second oldest member of the group after the leader Leeteuk.

Heechul is popularly nicknamed as "Heenim" (희님) by fans and the media. Fans often recognize him as the flower of Super Junior, and his fans became officially known as "petals" (꽃잎).In October 2002, Heechul discovered SM Entertainment's Starlight Casting System on a whim as he was researching on entertainment companies. Heechul and his friends traveled to Seoul to audition. As he was unfamiliar with the area, Heechul missed the open audition hours, but was casted anyways.

Along with Hero, U-Know, and future bandmate Kang-in, SM Entertainment placed them in a small project music group called Four Seasons, with each of the four members representing the four seasons of the year. The prospective group never came through; both Hero and U-Know were chosen to join another all-male singing group TVXQ, which debuted in December 2003. With two members gone, the idea of Four Seasons dropped. Heechul and Kang-in were then placed in Super Junior along with ten other trainees under the same company. This project group managed through well, and they debuted two years later in November 6, 2005 under the name Super Junior 05, the first generation of Super Junior.

This project group managed through well and debuted two years later in November 6, 2005 under the name Super Junior 05, the first generation of Super Junior. The initial plan for this group is that members would be continuously cycled in and then fazed out into other projects.

Other activities of Heechul before his official debut include modeling, acting, and VJing. He made his first appearance on TV starring in the teen drama “Banolim 2”.

Heechul Official Debut: Super Junior

On November 6, 2005, Kim Heechul officially debuted as part of Super Junior 05 on SBS “Inki Gayo,” performing the group's first single “TWINS (Knock Out)”. The group was supposed to comprise the first generation of Super Junior. In early 2006, SM Entertainment was beginning to recruit new members for the next Super Junior generation, Super Junior 06, where Heechul would still be an undergraduate member. However, plans changed. The company decided to add a thirteenth member, Kyuhyun, and declared a halt in forming future Super Junior generations. The group dropped the suffix “05″ and became officially credited as Super Junior.

The re-polished group hit it big after it released the first CD single “U” the following summer in 2006. "U" became Super Junior’s most successful single in the music charts until the release of “Sorry, Sorry” in March 2009. However, setbacks occurred for the promotions of “U” in the latter half of the year when Heechul suffered a major injury from a car accident that occurred on August 10, 2006.

The tires malfunctioned while his car attempted to switch lanes. From this accident, he fractured five places on his left leg including his femur, knee, and ankle which required a 6-hour surgery and sustained several other injuries including a tear to his tongue which required stitches. He was advised to stop all activities for a period of twelve weeks. He was released from the hospital on September 13, 2006 and received out patient care. He returned to the hospital to have a second surgery to remove some of the iron rods in his leg on October 10 and briefly returned to work in late October to film the final three episodes of the MBC youth sitcom Rainbow Romance while still in a cast and wheelchair. It wasn't until late December when Heechul officially returned to individual activities such as variety show appearances and hosting appearances.

On August 10, 2006, Heechul was involved in a car accident while heading back to Seoul from Mokpo after attending the funeral of fellow Super Junior member Lee Donghae’s father. The tires malfunctioned while his car attempted to switch lanes. Heechul fractured his left leg in five places, including his femur, knee, and ankle, requiring him to be in surgery for six hours. He also sustained other injuries, including a tear in his tongue which required stitches.

Heechul was advised to stop all activities for a period of twelve weeks. He was released from the hospital on September 13, 2006 but he continued to receive out-patient care. He returned to the hospital to have a second surgery to remove some of the iron rods in his leg on October 10 and briefly returned to work in late October to film the final three episodes of an MBC youth sitcom while still in a cast and on a wheelchair. He made his comeback on November 25 of the same year during the Mnet KM Music Festival (MKMF) Awards but it was only in late December that Heechul officially returned to individual activities such as variety show appearances and hosting appearances.

In 2007, Heechul started to perform regularly despite still having a few rods that the doctors had attached to his leg. In late April and May 2007, he had recovered enough to be able to take part in Super Junior's strenuous dance routines. The remaining rods in his leg were removed in 2008.

Heechul Super Junior-T

Heechul became part of a Super Junior sub-group, Super Junior-T, which debuted on February 23, 2007 with the Trot “teuroteu” single “Rokuko!!!” (65 로꾸거; [KoKuRo (backwards) spelled backwards]).

Heechul and Han Kyung

Super Junior Kim Hee Chul and hankyung

No, he’s not, but Heechul sure looks like a girl.

Super Junior member, Heechul posted up a selca photo of himself and Han-kyung 5 days prior to the news that the Chinese contingent wanted out of his contract. The timing of the picture couldn’t have been more perfect since it has caught the hawkeyes of the netizens.

Heechul treating Hankyung well, is not only because of their age, ranking (sunbae/hoobae) and also not only because they live in the same dorm. It’s because Hankyung had to leave his home, and has to endure everything (too much) by himself. Being his friend, fellow member, Heechul feels that he should take care of Hankyung even more.

Furthermore, the so called ai mei (love) is actually only because of the requirement in front of the camera. Heechul is a fairly traditional guy. But there’s a very interesting thing that happened. At their dorm when they were filming Hankyung’s China 10 days trip diary, Hankyung asked Heechul whether he would miss him. Heechul stayed silent for a second and replied, ‘Are you sick or something?’ And then gave Hankyung a peck on his cheek.

Heechul Kissed Sungmin

Super Junior Kim Hee Chul kiss sungmin

Yes, we know you are all going to scream fan service, again, for the 500th time. But enough is enough, come the freak out of the closet already Kim Heechul! I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt, but not anymore, it’s pretty damn obvious that he actually enjoys this boy on boy tongue action. So without further ado, we introduce to you Super Junior Heechul’s latest victim: Sungmin.

What’s the excuse this time girls? I don’t think there is one, because Heechul is about as straight as a road in San Francisco.

Leeteuk Super Junior Oldest and Leader Member

09.43 / Comments (0) / by Airlines Stewardess

Super Junior Leeteuk

Park Jungsu (박정수) or Leeteuk (이특) is the leader of Korean boyband member Super Junior. and also the oldest member of the group. His stage name literally means "special". He was the first member of Super Junior that was accepted into SM Entertainment.

Leeteuk explained that he uses a stage name due to his desire to have a name with the same effects as Kangta (and to also prevent confusion with veteran actress Park Jung-su). His stage name denotes being "special" as he wants to be a special member in the group. Leeteuk also became known as the "special leader" (특별한리더) of the group.

Leeteuk Pre-Debut

In early 2000, Park Jung-su was scouted by a talent agent in Myeongdong. He was asked to audition for the Starlight Casting System 2000, which soon signed him into SM Entertainment that same year. Park made an extremely brief cameo appearance in the MBC Korean drama All About Eve in 2000 and was also a model for Pepsi. He was then put into a five-member boy band along with his future Super Junior bandmate, Donghae by his talent agency before this idea was dropped. Some of the names for this group were OK, Pricor and Smile. After he was put in Super Junior, Park wanted a stage name similar to Kangta and thus chose the name Leeteuk. Teuk, which means "special." This was explained on "Happy Together Friends" (watch it here).

Super Junior Leeteuk

Leeteuk Debut

On November 6, 2005, Leeteuk as a part of Super Junior officially debuted on SBS's Popular Songs performing the group's first single "TWINS (Knock Out)." Being the oldest of the group, Leeteuk was chosen to be the leader of Super Junior, leading and guiding the group in media interviews and schedules. Since the debut of Super Junior, Leeteuk has been a regular MC for M.NET's M!Countdown along with Super Junior members Kang-In and Shindong. However, since late 2006, Eunhyuk replaced Kang-In's position. Due to concert tour schedules and preparations for the new album, Leeteuk, Shindong, and Eunhyuk decided to leave their MC seats, their last day on March 27, 2008. Along with Eunhyuk, Leeteuk is also the DJ for KBS's Super Junior Kiss the Radio since August 21, 2006. Starting December 2007, Leeteuk became the host of his own show, Leeteuk's Love Fighter, a variety show of Leeteuk helping to solve troubled couples' problems.

Leeteuk Car Accident

Leeteuk became seriously injured in a car accident at the morning of April 19, 2007 when returning home after a recording of Super Junior Kiss the Radio. Along with Leeteuk, fellow members Shindong, Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun, and two managers also became victims. Although Shindong and Eunhyuk suffered minor injuries, Leeteuk and Kyuhyun sustained more serious injuries, which required for the two be kept in the hospital for several more days. Leeteuk had glass shards embedded into his back and above his eyes and had a successful surgery of 170 stitches in removing most of them. Leeteuk was discharged out of the hospital on April 30, 2007. However, Leeteuk may still need further surgeries to remove or minimize the scars. Due to Leeteuk's fast recovery, he was in time to do a last-minute performance in Super Junior's debut film, Attack on the Pin-Up Boys (2007), playing a panda mascot, whch was originally played by Ryeowook.

Leeteuk Cyber Controversy

Three months after the car accident on April 19, Leeteuk appeared as a guest on an episode of School of Rock on July 30, 2007. Leeteuk falsely stated that Korean figure skater, Kim Yu-Na refused his cyworld invitation. After the programme aired, Leeteuk's fans posted over 7,000 comments on Kim's cyworld. Kim's fans counter-attacked Leeteuk's cyworld, posting hateful comments on his cyworld as well. A day later after the incident Kim publicly clarified that she never refused such an invitation. Ultimately, Leeteuk had to post an official apology for the incident and acknowledged that the refusal never occurred. Leeteuk explained that he wanted to make an interesting topic for the television program and did not expect such a negative consequence. A hearing was held to discuss the incident on August 9, 2007. The panel held in August 2007 discussed that it is hard to know whether a guest on a show is telling the truth or not, since Leeteuk did not tell the story during a live broadcast. Since the show did not verify the story before it was aired, the show has to take responsibility for the incident to have occurred. Charges were not pressed against Leeteuk. Regardless of the clashes, both Kim and Leeteuk became closer and they continued to work together to endorse uniforms for IVY Club.

Leeteuk and Yoona from SNSD

Yoonah has revealed that Leeteuk has wanted to marry her for 7 years. On the show SBS “Strong heart” which was aired on October 27th, Yoonah said “There is a person here who always said to me that I’m his ideal type” and caught attention from other people. Then she pointed out that person is Super Junior’s Leeteuk. She said “I was a trainee since I’m 13. Leeteuk was 20 then and since that time, he always says jokingly to me that I should marry him”. After hearing this, Leeteuk had said without hesitant “Yoonah is really my ideal type” and “Yoonah calls me every night to ask me to give her advice. So I really think that she likes me” MC Lee SeungGi after heard Leeteuk said that Yoonah was his ideal type had said “I always think that Leeteuk is a weird person”. Later on, FTTS’s Brian had said “Yoonah is almost my ideal type…I will make her my girl…” which made Leeteuk covered Yoonah’s ears with both his hands and made everybody laughing.

Lee Teuk and SNSD TaeYeon brother-sister love?

In the recent photos of KBS Super Junior Kiss The Radio show, So Nyeo Shi Dae members SooYoung, HyoYeon, YoonA, SeoHyun and TaeYeon were featured as guest appearances on the show.

And what had especially caught the attention of many netizens was TaeYeon and Lee Teuk acting intimately in the photos.

SNSD-SuJu brother-side love?

Out of 9 members, only 5 members were present due to other solo activities. And SeoHyun was not in the photo because she had to attend her graduation ceremony.

Leeteuk Taeyeon

Lee Teuk and Taeyeon are dating ?

According to the “know-it-all” netizens, the answer is yes. So what’s all the random Lee Teuk & Taeyeon hype about? It turns out that the two idol stars were apparently caught wearing a same necklace, resulting in numerous speculations of their mystery relationship. (Taecyeon & YoonA anyone?) Of course, this can just be a mere coincidence, possibly caused by being in the same company with same stylists who provide them such accessories. But again, the fact that the two both belong in the same company supports their relationship at the same time. The netizens expressed, “They look so good together.” “The power of the netizens… amazing.” “I hope they are not dating. Taeyeon’s mine.” “Stupid… It’s just a coincidence.” So you be the judge – is there really something fishy between them, or is this just another act of netizens that is unworthy of your attention?

Super Junior Member Profile and Photos

02.10 / Comments (0) / by Airlines Stewardess

Super Junior

Super Junior (슈퍼주니어) is a popular Korean Boyband, and a thirteen member Korean boy band under the SM Entertainment label and production agency. Super Junior is one of the most popular Korean Boyband outside Korea besides Tohoshinki, SS501, or FT Island.

Super Junior

They debuted in 2005 with the single "TWINS (Knock Out)" as a twelve member group but added a thirteenth in May of 2006 with the release of their single U.

Super Junior's popularity has spread across Asia and they have held concerts in such places as Thailand and Japan. Several of the members had previous jobs as VJs, actors and models previously, which helped to boost the group's popularity. Super Junior is composed of 12 Korean members and 1 Chinese member.

Super Junior

The members are Leeteuk (the leader), Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Kang-in, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kibum, and Kyuhyun. The Chinese member, Han Geng, was chosen among 3,000 applicants through auditions held in China by SM Entertainment in 2001. The group initially debuted with twelve members on November 6, 2005, but since the addition of Kyuhyun in May 23, 2006, they have become a thirteen-member group.

As of 2010, only 10 members are active, due to Han Geng's ongoing lawsuit against SM Entertainment, Kibum's pursuit of other interests, and Kang-in's leave of absence for mandatory military service.

Super Junior

Super Junior Debut and History

Since the late 1990s, Korean talent agency and record label SM Entertainment has been holding annual auditions to scout new talents that complemented the success of pop groups H.O.T, S.E.S, and Shinhwa, all of which were created by SM founder Soo-Man Lee in the mid 1990s. Leeteuk and Eunhyuk were the first two members of the group to be recruited in 2000 under SM's Starlight Casting System in Seoul.

In 2001, the company held their first overseas casting auditions and discovered Han Geng in Beijing, who was chosen among three thousand applicants. That same year, Yesung was discovered under Seoul's casting system with his friend HeeChul. Sungmin and Donghae were also selected to be trainees after their appearance in an SM-sponsored contest. In 2002, Heechul and Kangin was recruited along with Kibum, who was discovered in Los Angeles. Siwon was casted in 2003 and Ryeowook in 2004, in which the latter was discovered through the Chinchin Youth Festival singing competition. In 2005, Shindong was selected.

Super Junior

Not long after boy band TVXQ's debut in 2003, news about Lee's unprecedented plans of forming another boy band quickly spread on the Internet. In early 2005,Lee confirmed the news and announced that an all-boy project group of twelve members would debut near the end of the year, promoting this singing group to be "The Gateway to Stardom of Asia." Lee announced that that most members in this group were chosen because of their performing experiences as actors, MCs, models, and radio hosts prior debut. Heechul and Kibum were already established entertainers, and most of the other members had already made various kinds of appearances on television and media. Highly inspired by the rotational concept of Japan's girl group Morning Musume, this group would also experience line-up changes, with new members replacing some selected members every year to keep the group constantly young and all-rounded. This concept was then newly introduced to the K-pop market.

For a while the group was rumored to be called O.V.E.R, the acronym for "Obey the Voice for Each Rhythm." However, before the group settled with their current name, SM simply referred to them as Junior, a representation of the members' young ages when they first became SM trainees. After the members'
showcased their different talents to the company at a picnic, the company finalized their concept name to Super Junior. The group thereafter became officially Super Junior 05, the first generation of Super Junior.

Super Junior

Super Junior 05 made their pre-debut on the Korean channel Mnet on September 11, 2005. At the showcase, they performed various styles of hip hop dancing. The group danced to B2K's "Take It To The Floor." Han Geng, Eunhyuk, and Donghae also performed a separate dance away from the group, dancing to Usher's "Caught Up." However, the performance did not air on television until May 16, 2006 as a segment in the Super Junior Show, the group's first television documentary.

Super Junior Sub Unit

Like SS501, Super Junior does also has a Sub Unit.

Super Junior-K.R.Y

Super Junior-K.R.Y, established in November 2006, is a trio formed by Kyuhyun,
Ryeowook, and Yesung. The company discovered that these three members developed a particular personal
and subsequent fan-base that was separate from the rest of the group, and how they also had similar musical qualities.hey therefore grouped these three members together to perform particular songs to target a more mature audience. Being amongst the most vocally powerful members of the group, Super Junior-K.R.Y are credited to singing mournful, R&B-style ballads, a style that has proven very popular in recent years although stagnation in the style's development is causing it to lose its once fresh evocative power.

Super Junior

Super Junior T

Super Junior-Trot (Korean: 슈퍼주니어-트로트), officially known as Super Junior-T (Korean: 슈퍼주니어-티) is the second official sub-unit of Korean boy band Super Junior. They are the first idol group known for capitalizing trot music, the oldest form of Korean pop music. Super Junior-T has released only one single in the short span of their career before they were
announced to be on hiatus in 2008. The single "Rokuko" was Korea's sixteenth best-selling record and
the number one best-selling single of 2007, according to the Music Industry Association of Korea. In November 2008,the subgroup returned with a debut in the Japanese music industry, releasing the Japanese version of "Rokuko."

Super Junior M

Super Junior-M, often referred to as SJ-M, is the third official sub-unit of Korean boy band Super Junior. They are the first international music group in the Chinese music industry to have members of both Chinese and Korean descent, and are also the first group produced by Korea's CT (Culture Technology) organization, created through a comprehensive localization strategy.Super Junior-M consists of Super Junior members Han Geng (the leader), Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook,Kyuhyun, and two non-Super Junior members, Henry and Zhou Mi.

Super Junior Happy

Super Junior-Happy (Korean: 슈퍼주니어-해피), sometimes referred to as SJ-Happy or Suju-Happy (Korean: 슈주-해피), is the fourth official sub-unit of Korean boy band Super Junior. Super Junior-Happy contains six Super Junior members, Leeteuk (the leader), Yesung, Kang-in, Shindong, Sungmin, and Eunhyuk.
