Nichkhun Debut
In August 2007, JYP revealed a list of 11 trainees that were said to debut in a large boy band. However the boy band, One Day, was split into two smaller sub-groups. Nichkhun was put in the group's second counter part, 2PM, which is a seven boy band group. The other group is 2AM. On 4 September, 2008, 2PM debuted with their dance number, "10 out of 10," with their single album "Hottest Time of the Day."

Nich Khun's 1st episode of Mnet's Scandal is out! Nich Khun's new girlfriend's name is Kim Min Sun and the lucky girl got to call Nich Khun her boyfriend for a whole week. The couple went out to eat, ice skating, and went to Lotte World
Base on a love story between an ordinary person and a superstar as in the hit movie, "Nothing Hill", a new TV program called "Mnet Scandal" on Mnet channel has recently become a talk of the town after airing its first two episodes.
And in its third episode, Nichkhun of 2PM will play a boyfriend role to a girl who is close to his ideal type. Nichkhun had told the program that he prefers an older or same age girl whom he can talk freely with. He likes a girl who eats well and can make him crave for food just watching she eats. On a date, he just wants to go to a theme park and holds her hands while skating on an ice skating rings together.
However, Mnet channel has been bombarded with hundred of phone calls from Nichkhun fans after the preview of the 3rd episode, where he is seen having a date scenes just like he had pictured, was showed to public. Some fans raged and showed envious remarks to the girl who was picked to be Nichkhun's girlfriend. Some fans protested the show while some showed their interest in watching the program.
Mnet Scandal's Nichkhun episode will be aired for two weeks on Wednesday night of May 20th and 27th, at 11:00 pm (korean time) on Mnet channel.

Seeing how confident Nichkhun is with Kim Min Sun, we can say for sure that Nichkhun sure knows how to treat them ladies. With his adorable charm, what girl (and boy?) wouldn't drop down on their knees in a split second? I give Kim Min Sun props for being able to control her inner fangirlness, but the show would've been more entertaining if the girl didn't control herself so well - a nervous klutz who did stupid things around him would've kept me laughing. Finally after their seven days of making love, the two split, like a banana split.. Speaking of bananas, I wonder if.. nevermind. Unfortunately, these videos don't have subs yet. Park Jaebom is the leader and oldest member of Korean Boy Band2PM. Jaebom was born in Seattle, Washington. His mom lead him to audition since he likes to dance and rap but he never knew that it would take him far.
Actually Park Jaebom is the former member of 2PM, as he was out from the group in September 2009 to return Seattle. Following a controversy over his MySpace page regarding one of his messages, he left the group on September 8, 2009.

I didn’t expect that 2PM’s leader, Jaebum will end up leaving the group. If you’re not familiar with 2PM. I’ll give you few details first about the group. 2PM is a 76-member Korean boy band such as Junsu, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho, and Chansung.
These all-male group is under JYP Entertainment same with Wonder Girls company. Let’s omit Jaebum since he decided to leave the group on September 8 because of what he did on his Myspace account way back in 2005 by posting a Korean-offending messages on his account. Fangirls were totally shocked with his decision of leaving the group.
Here’s the message of JaeBum’s message on the official fancafe posted on September 8:
Hello. This is JaeBum from 2PM. I’m sorry to give a last farewell with this message. With that very apologetic heart I have, it seems it is hard for me to see everyone on stage again.”

The departure of Park Jaebum to America is a big disaster for his thousands of fans in Korea. A large number of his fans gathered at the airport to see their star last time. Park Jaebum announced his resignation on the band's website (Korean language).
Recently, it became known that the singer had written critical remarks on the social network site with the following messages:
"Korea is gay. I hate Koreans. I wanna come back. Korea is whack, but everyone thinks I'm like the illest rapper wen i suck nuts at rappin."
The remarks were posted just after Park Jaebum arrived in South Korea as a trainee for JYP Entertainment, which ended up signing Park Jae Beom as part of One Day, which later slit into 2PM and 2AM.
In the years that followed, 2PM and 2AM rose to fame, and Park Jaebum's earlier remarks came back to hurt him.
Just hours after the posting of the message, he got onboard a Korean Air plane in the evening. Hundreds of his fans packed the terminal at the airport yelling: ``Don’t Go, Don’t Go!’’ Jae-beom reportedly gave a big bow as a goodbye to his fans, most of whom were in tears.

2 PM is Korean Boy Band from seoul, managed by Park Jin-young of JYP Entertainment. Before their debut, 2PM was featured on an documentary called Hot Blood Men that aired on Mnet, along with the members of 2AM. The show documented the rigorous training program of JYP trainees as well as the elimination of three of trainees from the group.
2 PM Debut
2PM debuted with their debut single "Hottest Time of the Day," and also released a music video for "10 out of 10." 2PM made their official debut performance on Mnet M!Countdown, performing "10 out of 10", on September 4, 2008. They continued to perform "10 out of 10" on other music shows, including SBS Inkigayo and KBS Music Bank. They were paricularly known for their high energy during their performances and the subtle changes and improvisations to their choreography. Now known as JYP's Pride and Joy, 2PM finally released their much anticipated single album “Hottest Time of the Day” on August 29. JYP revealed that “this group is my pride and reputation” because 2PM is his newest boyband in 10 years since the creation of G.O.D. The title of their album "Hottest Time of the Day" implies that 2PM will reflect the bussle and activity of mid-day by working hard as a dance group.
2PM’s title song is “10 points out of 10″, which is a fusion of rock(ish) guitar ripples, electronica, with a hip-pop beat that shows JYP’s daring style. 2PM Television hosting
In December 2008, 2PM began to host the third season of MBC's Idol Show (아이돌군단의 떴다!그녀).[18] The segment ran from December 4, 2008 to March 26, 2009, with a total of seventeen episodes.
The group also starred in a reality show on M.net, titled "Wild Bunny", in which the members escaped the pressures of stardom by performing ten forbidden activities of idols. The show ran from July 21, 2009 to September 1, 2009, with seven episodes aired; the airing of the final episode, which coincidentally featured the members engaged in a "Leader Olympics" game to select a new leader, was postponed indefinitely due to Jaebeom's internet controversy and his subsequent departure from the group.[19]
In addition, Taecyeon and Wooyoung are hosting SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System)'s weekly music show Inkigayo, while Jaebeom and Chansung have also made regular appearances on 'Introducing Star Friends'. Since Jaebeom was voted off, Nichkhun replaced his position as the guest. Nichkhun and Wooyoung were also frequent guests on SBS's variety talent show Star King between April and October 2009, with the other 2PM members occasionally joining them.

In March 2009, 2PM was selected to model for EXR, a clothing company in Korea. In July 2009, the members of 2PM were selected as the representatives of foreign artists by the Thai government-led tourism campaign, I Love Thailand. Member Nichkhun has also been selected by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) as the face of their newest campaign, "Come to Thailand; Let's Take a Break!"
In August 2009, 2PM collaborated with the Body Shop in 'Soft Hands, Kind Heart', a worldwide campaign that calls for the protection of children and teenagers against sex trafficking. The members will act as Korea's spokespeople for the campaign.
In late October 2009, a commercial film (CF) of 2PM promoting Hanami (a Thailand snack company) was released, which also included Jaebeom; the commercial was said to be filmed prior to his departure in September.
November 2009 saw multiple new endorsement deals for the group [24], the first of which being a commercial and print campaign for Market O's "Real Brownie" pastry. About Heo Young Saeng
Heo Youngsaeng's vocal is the backbone of SS501's songs, impressive in its strength and sweet clarity. Youngsaeng started out as a trainee with SM Entertainment where he was friends with members of many of the label's popular groups. For an unspecified reason he decided to take his chances elsewhere and on the advice of a friend auditioned for DSP and gained admittance to the group. Specifically it is known that he is still good friends with Siwon and Yehsung of Super Junior and Jaejoong and Yunho of DBSK. Youngsaeng has also stated that he admires Lee Minwoo of Shinhwa and hopes to follow in his footsteps. Not long after SS501 had debuted it was announced that Youngsaeng had developed a problem with his vocal chords that required surgery and a period of rest, at the time he had been co-hosting the radio show Youngstreet with fellow member Jungmin so Kyujong took his place.
Youngsaeng is mostly quiet, preferring to let everyone else do the talking. In interviews it is obvious that he suffers from a lack of self confidence stating once that he didn't like his voice and wished it were manlier. Yet he loves to take pictures of himself, perhaps a habit picked up from his SM days. His nickname in the group is “Otter” which was something he didn't like because he didn't know what it was. However once he looked it up he thought otters were cute so he didn't mind being called that anymore. He has been called Dr. Love by the other members because of his impressive knowledge of girls and also Prince by his fans. When Youngsaeng thinks the camera isn't on him he will slack off with his dancing. He can be really cute when he relaxes during performances, giving fans bright smiles and v signs.
Heo Young Saeng Career
Heo Young Saeng was a trainee under SM Entertainment, making him close with members of TVXQ and Super Junior. He later joined DSP Entertainment and debut as a member of SS501 on 8 June 2005.
Young Saeng hosted SS501’s Youngstreet (SBS, 2006) with fellow member Park JungMin from 1 May 2006. He had to part with the program in Aug’06 due to some problems on his vocal cords which requires surgery and time to recover.
In 2008, due to 2 members’ busy schedules, Jung Min performing in a Korean production of the musical “Grease” and Hyun Joong filming drama “Boys Over Flowers“, SS501’s album which was originally due for release in late 2008, was to be pushed back to July 2009.
Instead, a sub unit of SS501 was formed, with Heo Young Saeng as the leader of this sub unit. Other two members in this unit are Kim Kyu Jong and Kim Hyung Joon. This unit group was initially named “Triple S” but they changed it back to “SS501″, reason being that they are 5 members always as 1. The unit group released a special project album “U R Man” (released on November 25, 2008).
Young Saeng composed and wrote his solo song, ‘사랑인거죠 (Is it Love?)’ which is also included in the special project album. This song is written while SS501 were having activities in Japan in 2007. He is the first member to have both composed and wrote lyrics for a song.
Finishing their promotional activities for “U R Man”, they continued their activities to promote “내 머리가 나빠서 (Because I am stupid)”, a song they sang for the OST of “Boys Before Flowers”. This song is very well-received due to the success of the drama. They won the “Song of the month (Feb)” award with this song at the 32nd Cyworld Digital Music Awards (28 Mar 09) with about 110,000 downloads for BGM at www.cyworld.com.

Kim Hyun-joong and Heo Young-saeng caught up in scandal!
Recently, the popular Korean group SS501 leader Kim Hyun Joong and member Heo Young Saeng were caught on the camera by the Hong Kong’s paparazzi, together with their secondary school friends in Hong Kong.
On 17th August, Hong Kong media reported that after Kim Hyun Joong and Heo Young Saeng finished performing their concert in Budokan, Japan, they flew secretly to Hong Kong and dated some girls in the night club. This scene was photographed by the Hong Kong’s paparazzi and spread rapidly online.’
Regarding this report, SS501’s company replied that: “After Kim Hyun Joong and Heo Young Saeng had ended their performance in Budokan, Japan on 14th August, they went for their holidays with 8 of their secondary school friends in Hong Kong. Those photos may have been taken when they were moving to some other places. In order to ease their busy life and relieve stress, they went shopping in Hong Kong and happened that there were paparazzi following them and causing misunderstanding.”
The news about two members of SS501 in Hong Kong has spread rapidly. Taking into consideration that many fans will gather at the airport, they planned to make another arrangement to go back to Korea at a different time.
